You are welcome to take part in our workshop "How to bring up children in multilingual families" in which we offer parent-to-parent tips and advice on how to deal with two or more languages in your family. Alternatively you are welcome to just pop in for a coffee or tea, chat to other parents and let the children enjoy the fantastic facilities at the Limes.
We hold a 2 hours drop-in play session for families at our local children community center in Walthamstow 3 times a year. We have a lot of very exciting activities planned for the sessions. This was in response to requests from members for events that involved more interactions and participation.
So please do come geared up to get involved - both children and adults will be asked to take part in these (experimental) sessions!
Venue:The Limes is a wonderful centre with great outdoor equipment in the garden, an indoors ball pond and there are always craft activities for the children to do. At the drop in sessions WFBG members can borrow books, pick up free donated children's books and other resources in various languages and talk to more experienced parents about any concerns or questions you may have.
An opportunity to talk to other bilingual parents while the children play.
